Thomas L. Crimi, age 77, formerly of Tonawanda, died Monday, June 29, 2020 at Olean General Hospital, after a long illness. Born December 12, 1942 in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Eileen (nee Woods) Crimi. Tom was a disabled Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a longtime resident of the Tonawanda Towers and was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Tonawanda.
He was the brother of the late Beverly Cole; and uncle of Wanda Phillips of Lockport, Tina (Ronald) Estep of Barker, Jamie (Richard) Weller of Barker, Bradley Cole of Maryland, and Steven (Leslie) Cole of California.
There is no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating. Military Honors will be offered at that time. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, New York. If desired, memorials to St. Francis Church, 73 Adam Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150, are preferred by his family.
