Jerry R. Davis, age 64, of North Tonawanda, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Hospice Buffalo. Born October 16, 1954 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Andrew and Elsie Mae (nee Platt) Davis. Jerry was an inspector at the General Motors Engine Plant in Tonawanda before retiring. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed repairing boat motors and small engines.
He was the husband of Diane (nee Notaro) Davis; father of Sherri Rollain and Jerry R. Davis, II, both of North Tonawanda; grandfather of Bret Dimmick and Joshua Rollain; and brother of Karen (David) Williamson of Tomball, Texas, Thomas (Kelly) Davis of Tonawanda, John Davis of Niagara Falls, and the late Robert Krawtz. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Sheri Krawtz of Greesboro, Pennsylvania, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Monday at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday; the Rev. Patricia MacKinnon officiating. Friends invited. Inurnment will be cared for privately at Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton.
