Anne (nee Julian) Giglia, age 89, of Rochester, formerly of Tonawanda, died Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St. John's Home in Rochester. Born December 16, 1929 in Hamilton, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosaria (nee Juliano) Julian. Anne was a resident of Tonawanda for the greater part of her life and had been a volunteer at DeGraff Hospital in North Tonawanda and at Shea's Theatre in Buffalo. She was a member of St. Edmund's and St. Francis Churches in Tonawanda and had also been an active resident of St. John's Home in Rochester
She was the wife of the late Salvatore Giglia, who died in 1989; mother of Patricia A. (Martin) Fagan of Rochester, Charles Giglia of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, Rita (George) Ritchie of Greensboro, North Carolina, and the late Tommy Giglia, who died in 1961; and grandmother of Robyn (Branden) Maness, Randi (Wesley) Kinney, Salvatore (Sara) Giglia, Justin Giglia, Donovan Fagan, and Vincent Fagan. Also surviving are 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 PM on Sunday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Monday at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
