Beverly (nee Marohn) Mislin, age 83, of North Tonawanda, died Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Amherst. Born February 15, 1935 in Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Jennifer (nee Brock) Marohn. Mrs. Mislin was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas and had lived in her home in North Tonawanda since 1956. She was an avid reader and sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball, hockey and soccer, as well as doing word puzzles. Mrs. Mislin enjoyed the many flowers around her home as well as watching the birds at the feeders outside her windows.
She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Mislin, who died May 16, 2013; mother of Debra (James) Bors of Sanborn and Mark (Susan Bek) Mislin of Lackawanna; and sister of Roger Marohn of North Tonawanda and the late Rose, Gloria, Christine, Roland, Clifford, Leslie, and Paul. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A private family service and interment were held at Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton; the Rev. Jeremy Lopez officiated. If desired, memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, are preferred by the family.
